Cheryl Maas has been at the forefront of women’s snowboarding for the last 10 years.

Ever since she started snowboarding the age of eleven on the artificial slope in Holland it was clear that Cheryl had plans to become one of the best female riders snowboarding has ever seen.

Working her way up the contest rankings she landed her self on the top of the TTR world tour for the 05/06 season winning this prestige world title.

Since starting to snowboard in 1995 Cheryl has not only won many of these world class contests but was also awarded by here peers with snowboardermags female rider of the year in 2011.

Her ‘Open Air” web series was a great success, showing her all-round riding skills. Now she is showing some more inside on her life and snowboarding with the new web series “Trough My Eyes”.

In 2006 Cheryl represented her country in halfpipe at the Torino Olympics where she finished 11th and this year in Sochi 2014 Cheryl will focus on showing the world her slopestyle snowboarding skills.

Cheryl’s love of snowboarding and warming attitude is something that she shares with everyone she work’s with on and off the hill.

A hard working women who has plans to keep pushing snowboarding Cheryl is set to entertain the snowboarding world for a good while longer.

THROUGH MY EYES

In episode 1 of “Through My Eyes” we follow Dutch professional snowboarder and mother, Cheryl Maas from her home life in Biarritz, France to her start of the 2012 Olympic lead-up winter season at the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado. Here Cheryl faces new challenges both physically and mentally as she works together with the Dutch National Snowboard team, fighting for the first qualifying points for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games. Heartbreakingly, Cheryl is struck down in practice resulting in a traumatic knee injury that ends her 2013 winter season and forces her into recovery.
